So why not a little Black Sabbath tribute from Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and his friends? Why not a Rain Parade cover from Asteroid #4? Why not some berserk psych-en-espanol from Los Acidos, IAH, Vuelvateloca ("drive you crazy"), and Firefriend? Why not an absolute BEAST from the mighty Mogwai, and some barnburners from Turtle Skull, Hotel Wrecking City Traders and OG psychsters Bardo Pond? It's all here, resolving with the bliss that is the OZEAN.
I can't wait to chill on some San Tropico beach "once all this is over". And even if we can't make plans yet, we CAN see that light that beckons us. My friends, one thing we've learned is that we're all in this same fucked up trip together, and once the surreality wears off...? Well, we'll still have SPACE ROCK!
